Price is right for Florida residents $35. The concept is great (pay one flat fee and spend the day playing 5 floors of arcade games, rides, and virtual games for free). The problem is that the place gets so crowded that's its almost impossible to get near any of the larger and newer video games. Kids will get in these games and just sit in there for hours. We had to stay for about 6 hours to "really" break even and get our $35 worth of video games. Food is not free and is expensive ($9 for Nachos and cheese), so you may want to eat before you get here. Despite the crowd we made the best of it. If you're looking for somewhere to get out of the heat or rain with a lot of things to do, this is a good place if you can hit it on a slow day.
It's Over Now... Disney Quest Shut Down... It Was Amazing.
There Was Lots Of Arcade Games, But Only One Was Out Of Order, Cyperspace Mountain Let You Make Your Vary Own Roller coaster And Ride It.
The Aladden Magic Carpet Ride, Let You Exsperice VR, Of Course Its A Old VR Headset.
Then There's Food Quest, Where You Eat. So Yeah That's Most Of What I Remember.
Fun place to play and hang out, especially during the warmer months. There's an assortment of old retro video games as well as modern games. They also have half a dozen modern pinball machines.
I waited at least 15 years to visit Disney Quest. There never seemed to be time to visit on previous vacations. Our most recent Disney vacation package included 2 free tickets, so we set aside a day to go. My husband and I are both video game fans and we had a lot of fun! We also brought our 5 year old son and he loved it! For years, I'd heard about some of the unique attractions such as Virtual Pirates of the Caribbean. We made sure to do all of them and they did not disappoint! They have several of the Wreck It Ralph video games and I was thrilled to get to try it. It was great not having to worry about tokens or game credits. We could let our son go wild playing everything he wanted. We ended up spending 8 hours there and probably would have stayed longer if we didn't stop for dinner. It was a wonderful experience and is definitely something we would add to our trip in the future. Sadly, we've learned that Disney Quest is closing next year, so we will probably never be able to go again.
We called and were told that we should be able to get a managers special for tickets. When we got to the ticket counter and asked we were told it was only available for FL residence. I do not think this is right. We paid $192 for the 4 of us to play old school arcade games. The games and cold food were not worth $192. I feel that it was a complete waste. I know they are closing Disney quest July 3 but come on you ought to do better than that. For the amount of money the experience should have been 1000 times better. We were in Disney last week. This experience took place on June 6. In all honesty it should only be right that we get some sort of refund or compensation for our experience. This was not right not was it fair. NF-2017
We had a great time. Basically because no one was there on a Monday during off season. My son loves riding the make your own rollercoaster. The employees on the day we went were excellent. The place it's self has a lot of outdated arcade games. there's a weird smell and dirty carpet. My son said if he had had to wait lines it wouldn't be worth it. I can see why it is slated to close. Too much money for basically a giant arcade with old games.
I know this is closing soon if isn't already closed.
But my review is, if you really love to play unlimited times to some arcades, go early in the morning and stay inside all day to make those 45U$D worth.
In my case, I love the Dance Machine, and no one use it, so I stayed all day playing that damn game.
Sad to hear that is closing soon.
Pro:
+once you're in, all the games are free.
Con:
-$45 per person.
-outdated.
-few games that were worth playing.
-wasn't very Disney-like
Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and found it to be almost barren. It looked sad... like a relic from the past. It looked like Disney didn't bother to update or add new games. Only a few games (pinball and classics) were worth playing.
Take your $45 and go to Dave and Buster's.
